THOUSANDS of pounds has been raised in memory of a man who was fatally stabbed on Valentine's Day in Reading.
Shortly before 1am on Sunday, February 14, police were called to Managua Close in Caversham.
A man, aged 24, was found with a stab wound to his chest and died at the scene.
National media reports have identified the victim as Yannick Cupido.
Police have been unable to officially confirm the victim's identity.

A GoFundMe page has been set up called 'Justice for Yannick' and has raised £2,246 of a £5,000 target.
The fundraising page explained: "The local community, are trying to raise money due to a local friend sadly losing his life due to knife crime.
"Nobody deserves to lose their life in this way, however Yannick was such a kind-hearted boy and was way too young to pass.
"He had a long life ahead of him and now it has been taken away so tragically."
It continued: "He was such a caring, genuine young man who brought such laughter and joy to everyone he came around."
The page added: "We cannot bare to imagine what his family are enduring at this extremely sad and vulnerable time.
"KNIFE CRIME needs to be STOPPED."
Thames Valley Police have arrested a 22-year-old in connection with the investigation.

Police said the man has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. He is currently in police custody.
