YOU may have had your suspicions, but did you know there are several beauty spots in Berkshire used as prolific dogging sites?
And one of those hotspots is Newbury, West Berkshire according to a website used to plan 'dogging' meet ups.
The website “Let’s Go Dogging” has shared that there are plans for a meet up in Newbury this weekend to its 26,000 followers on social media.
The site claims to organise “dogging” events - the act of watching sexual activity in a public place - in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa.
It has not disclosed where the Newbury meet up would take place but attending gatherings in public spaces would be against Covid rules.

Dogging, sexual activity in public or watching others engage in sexual activity in public, is not banned under a specific law in the UK, but people who get caught can be charged under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 with public lewdness and indecent exposure.
In 2019, Thames Valley Police said they deal ‘robustly’ with reports of dogging and treat them as ‘a serious matter’.
However, this time round the police declined to comment on the matter.
