The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Courts:

January 14:

ARRON CLARK, 32, of Bodin Gardens, Newbury, admitted drug-driving on A4 bath Road, Thatcham, on June 24. Found to have cocaine in his blood. Also admitted driving without the correct insurance on the A4 Bath Road, Thatcham, on June 24. Fined £157 total. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. MYRON NARTEY, 26, of Cavendish Road, Reading, admitted possession of cannabis in Reading on May 4. Fined £200. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs.

GERARD MCDONAGH, 19, of Wensley Road, Reading, convicted of stealing diesel from a motorcycle in Chieveley, Newbury, on June 26, and convicted of criminal damage a fuel tank in Chieveley, Newbury, on June 26. Sentenced to 18 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months. Made subject to electric monitoring curfew. Also ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge and £400 court costs.

KEEGAN LOVELACE, 40, of Bobgreen Court, Reading, admitted using threatening or abusive or insulting words to provoke or cause fear of violence in Reading on December 16. Given a community order including an electronic monitoring curfew. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

BLAIR CANTILLON, 41, of Norfolk Road, Reading, convicted of not having a valid ticket for train travel in Reading on August 14, 2020. Fined £115. Also ordered to pay £2 compensation and £150 court costs.

Reading Chronicle:

TROY HILL, 21, of Alpine Street, Reading, convicted not having a valid ticket for train travel in Oxford on July 8, 2020. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £10 compensation and £150 court costs.

KEVIN KAFILO, 32, of Southampton Street, Reading, convicted of not having a valid ticket for train travel in Reading on August 21, 2020. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £3.90 compensation and £150 court costs.

CHRISTIAN KELLY, 37, of no fixed abode, convicted of not having a valid ticket for train travel in Reading on July 24, 2020. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £8.80 compensation and £150 court costs.

SHEENA OSMAN, 50, of Newark Street, Reading, convicted of not having a valid ticket for train travel in Reading on August 18, 2020. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £3.90 compensation and £150 court costs.

ROBERT POTTER, 46, of Chiltern Crescent, Reading, convicted of not having a valid ticket for train travel in Reading on July 3, 2020. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £3.90 compensation and £150 court costs.

DANIEL SULLIVAN, 29, of Beecham Road, Reading, convicted of three charges of not having a valid ticket for train travel in Reading on August 11, August 14, and August 21. Fined £930. Also ordered to pay £11.70 compensation and £450 court costs.
