FOLLOWING recent government guidance, Broad St. Mall, Reading is preparing for a number of retailers to re-open their doors on April 12, 2021.

Currently Broad St. Mall is open for essential stores and services only, however April 12 will see a welcome return to more key tenants within the centre as well as Beauty and Hair Salons and The Gym.

The opening times for the Centre will be extending to 8am-6pm Monday - Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sundays. Individual store opening hours may vary, so visitors are advised to check with stores directly prior to planning your visit.

The Centre Management and Store teams said they are continuing to work to make shopping experiences at the centre as safe and stress-free as possible with clear signage indicating social distancing measures, one-way navigation and queuing systems and hand sanitising stations throughout the centre.

Shoppers are still encouraged to visit the centre alone and to use contactless payments where possible.

Lift capacity remains limited to two people at a time.

The car park and public toilets will remain open.
