A number of people gathered in Reading today to stand in solidarity with UK-wide 'Kill the Bill' protests.
Peaceful protestors took to Reading's streets to express support with the demonstrations.
The proposed Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill would give police in England and Wales more power to impose conditions on non-violent protest.

Demonstrators stood outside in Forbury Gardens holding up placards reading: "We must claim our right to protest" and "Kill the Bill, "Stop Priti Pattel".
Peaceful protests are now allowed under relaxed coronavirus guidelines but police urged the organisers of the protest to work with them to ensure it goes smoothly and cautioned against large groups gathering.
Another sign read: "No more power for police." and "you are suppose to be protecting us".
