A THIEF who stole more than £100 worth of mascara from Superdrug has been handed a big fine.
Reading Magistrates' Court heard how Asif Farooq, of Kensington Road, Reading, took 20 of the beauty products worth £100 on November 17, 2020.
He went on to return to take another eight mascaras on November 26, 2020, worth a total of £40.

Farooq pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop at Reading Magistrates Court on Friday, March 26.
The 44-year-old was ordered to pay £100 compensation, £22 victims surcharge and court costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The £207 total will have to be paid by April 30, 2021.
