The local election candidates for Reading Borough have been revealed.
Local elections are taking place on May 6 this year and 17 councillor positions out of 46 are up for grabs at Reading Borough Council (RBC) including one by-election.
Reading voters will also have their say on the Thames Valley Police & Crime Commisioner election on the same day.
For the council elections, one candidate will elected in each ward, except for Peppard, where there is also a by-election after Councillor Clare Grashoff stood down to focus on her teaching career.
This year's vote is in place of last year's elections which were suspended. 2021 had been due to be a fallow year in Reading, with no council elections.
April 19 is the deadline to register to vote. Click here for more info on how to register to vote.
April 20 (no later than 5pm) is the deadline for receiving new postal vote applications.
