POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a driver failed to stop when asked, then sped away from police crashing into their car in the process.
The incident took place on Fir Tree Lane, Newbury, at around 12.40pm yesterday, April 13.

Officers attempted to stop the black Vauxhall Astra (2014 plate) however the driver failed to stop when asked, and attempted to drive away from the officers.
In the driver's escape they crashed into a police vehicle and a parked car, before driving the wrong way down a one-way street.
Investigating officer PC Joe Gawronski said: "We want to speak to anyone who has seen this vehicle driving in and around Newbury yesterday.
"If you have a dash cam in your car, please can I ask you check it. Particularly if you drove along Fir Tree Lane, Gaywood Drive, Leonardslee Crescent, A4 London Road, Hambridge Road, Boundary Road or Queens Road.

"We also want to speak with the driver of a parked red Audi in Fir Tree Lane, which was damaged as the Astra made off.
"Anyone with information should call 101, quoting the reference 43210155414."
