RESIDENTS were able to enjoy a pint in a pub garden for the first time in months as lockdown restrictions eased this week.
The government allowed pubs and restaurants to reopen on Monday, April 12, but all customers must sit outside.
We have decided to look at pubs and bars in Reading which have five star food hygiene ratings.

Every establishment which deals with the handling of food is rated by food hygiene inspectors employed by the council.
They are given an overall score as well as three separate rankings based on food hygiene and safety, structural compliance and confidence in management.
