A TEENAGE boy has been rushed to hospital with a head injury after being hit by a van.
Emergency services received a call shortly after 3pm about a boy aged between 14 and 15 being hit the wing mirror of a van on New Bath Road, Twyford.
South Central Ambulance Service said the boy has suffered a head injury and was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital.

A spokesman said: "We received a 999 call at 15:03 with the caller reporting that a boy aged 14-15 had been hit by the wing mirror of a van on New Bath Road, Twyford, and sustained a head injury.
"We sent an ambulance, a paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle and the Thames Valley Air Ambulance to the incident.

"Following initial treatment, the boy has been taken by road to the Royal Berkshire Hospital with the air ambulance crew travelling with him."
Earlier there were heavy traffic delays between the A4 Bath Road and A321 Wargrave Road (Twyford) to A3032 Old Bath Road (Charvil) following the accident.
Traffic reports indicate the roads have reopened and there is no traffic.
