BANK Holiday weekend is fast approaching which means a three day break for many workers.
Motorists have been warned to expect travel chaos as Brits embark on their bank holiday weekend getaways.
An RAC poll of drivers suggested that a total of 14.8 million trips are planned to take place between Friday and Monday as people celebrate the May Day bank holiday weekend after months of lockdown.
Motorists have been urged to expect delays in what is expected to be the busiest May Day bank holiday weekend since 2016; 62 per cent more leisure trips expected to take place this weekend compared with the Easter break.
The RAC said the figures indicate many people are keen to take advantage of the recent easing of coronavirus restrictions to see friends and family, or take day trips.
Whether you're driving to a friends house to sit in the garden or visiting a park for a country walk, we have put together a list of roadworks taking place this weekend across Berkshire where delays are likely.
