THE following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

FEBRUARY 12:

RYAN DYE, 39, of Ambrook Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison, by not attending appointments on August 10, August 25, and September 2 and failed to keep in contact with supervisor. Fined £50.

LUKASZ TOMASZEWSKI, 32, of Waylen Street, Reading, admitted driving without the correct insurance in Oxford Road, Reading, on December 7, 2020, and admitted driving while disqualified on the same occasion. Fined £40. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for three months.

MACIEJ MOJSIEJCZYK, 40, of Corwen Road, Reading, admitted driving while disqualified in Kings Road, Reading, on August 26, 2020. Also admitted driving without the correct insurance on the same occasion. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 60 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for three months.

DESMOND WILLIAMS, 51, of Barnwood Close, Reading, admitted stealing two bottles of Grey Goose vodka and two bottles of Gordons Gin worth £66 from Marks and Spencers in Reading on October 23, 2020. Given a conditional discharge for six months. Ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge.

MARIE BELDAM, 34, of Oxford Road, Newbury, admitted drink-driving in Bartholomew Street, Newbury, on July 11, 2020. Found to have 81mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £341. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £75 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Reading Chronicle:

JOSHUA ALEXANDER, 31, of Queens Street Mews, Henley on Thames, admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a dog called Goat namely the infliction of blunt force or trauma or rough handling Henley on Thames between February 28, 2020 and March 8, 2020. . Also admitted not taking steps to ensure the needs of an animal he was responsible for were met, namely protecting the animal from pain or suffering in Henley on Thames between February 28, 2020 and March 8, 2020. Given a community order to comply with drug rehabilitation. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £3900 court costs. Disqualified from keeping an animal for life.

February 13:

MILES TODMAN, 25, of Chilton Way, Hungerford, admitted drink-driving on the A338 in Hungerford on December 25, 2020. Found to have 50mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Also admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and admitted driving without the correct insurance both on the same occasion. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 16 months.

KHADIJA NGODAH, 39, of Ian Mikardo Way, Reading, admitted drink-driving in London Road, Reading, on January 17, 2021. Found to have 133mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Sentenced to eight weeks in prison suspended for 18 months. Also ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

MATTHEW TURNER, 35, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted stealing two bottles of alcohol worth £39.99 from One Stop in Market Place, Newbury, on April 30, 2020. Sentenced to six weeks in prison suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £50 court costs.

MOLLY COOK, 34, of Trowes Lane in Swallowfield, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending planned telephone appointments on May 26, September 25, and October 12. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £60 court costs.

ANTHONI GOODRIDGE, 28, of St Georges Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a suspended sentence by not attending supervision appointments on September 22 and September 14. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £75 court costs.

KIAN MIDDLETON, 20, of Duke Street, Reading, admitted failing to comply wit a community order by not attending rehabilitation activity on November 19, and December 10. Original offence being assault by beating in Reading on January 9, 2019. Community order in place and must undertake 66 hours unpaid work. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £60 court costs.
