An outbreak of kennel cough is reportedly being spread at a park in Reading.
Worried dog owners have taken to social media to report that their four-legged friend has kennel cough.
They say their dog displayed symptoms of it after being walked at Kensington Park in Reading.
The woman on the Facebook page said: "I kindly ask those whose dogs now have kennel cough that has been to Kensington Park please stop going back there.

"My girl now has KC. Please have some common sense if you know your dog is infected!"
Another resident said: "My dog has a cough too and we were at Kensington park recently."
Kennel cough is a respiratory infection caused by a number of bacteria and viruses that spread easily from one dog to another.

It is usually dangerous and is likely to need no treatment at all. But in puppies, elderly dogs or those with existing illnesses, the condition can be more serious and can develop into pneumonia.
