HOMES have been left without power this morning following an outage in Newbury, West Berkshire.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) hope to have power returned to the five postcodes in West Berkshire by 10.30am but say in most cases, it will be restored sooner.
Postcodes affected include RG14 6RP, RG20 0JU, RG20 0JX, RG20 0JY and RG20 0LA.
The power cut was reported at about 4.30am.

SSE engineers said: "We’re sorry for the loss of supply. We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed. Our engineers are on site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can."
