OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses after a fight broke out in Reading this week.
On Wednesday, May 12, Thames Valley Police received reports of an altercation in the Kennet Island area of Reading, believed to be near Longships Way, Fair Isle Way and Rushley Way.

Two men, both aged 18 and from Reading, were arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Both men have since been released on police bail.
Investigating officer, PC Henry Jones, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses following this incident, and would urge anyone with information to please come forward.

“To make a report to police please call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43210204326.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
