A HOTEL in Reading has reopened its doors to the public today following months of being closed due to lockdown.
After a long wait, guests can now book an escape to The Roseate Reading on The Forbury, and the manager is reassuring people the venue is safe.
The hotel, situated opposite Forbury Gardens, has a variety of activities guests and visitors can get involved with from today.
This includes The Aheli Spa which offers treatments that are designed to detox, cleanse, nourish, nurture, heal and rejuvenate.

With indoor dining now allowed, the hotel has also reopened its restaurant, The Reading Room, for indoor guests.
The space has recently been refurbished with a new spring menu on offer. There is also a cocktail bar for people to enjoy.
Inside the hotel, there is also a cinema, Upstage Mini, where people can enjoy private screenings of films to celebrate special occasions.
For people looking for a getaway the bedroom suites overlook the Forbury Gardens and historic Abbey Ruins.
Vicky Punchaye, General Manager of The Roseate Reading, said: “We would like to reassure our guests that our team is fully trained to ensure visitors are in a safe environment.
