A CRICKET ball in a sock, a large crowbar and knuckle dusters…
These are just some of the items people from Berkshire have been found with in public places.
They’ve received fines and community order as a result of carrying these dangerous weapons.
Here’s just some of the people from the royal county charged with weapons offences.

Simon Dwyer, of Townsend Close, Bracknell was caught with a large crowbar in Bracknell in January 2021.
The 32-year-old was told to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work as punishment for his actions.
He was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85 at Reading Magistrates Court on April 27.
Raoul Rabinowitz, of Turnpike Road, Newbury was carrying knuckle dusters in Newbury in September 2021.
The 21-year-old was given a community order to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work as a result.
He was told to give up his knuckle dusters and pay costs and a victim surcharge at Slough Magistrates Court in December 2020.
Michael Saunders, of Greenfields, Maidenhead, was caught with a police batton in September 2020.
The 21-year-old, who was told to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £95, was ordered to work 120 hours unpaid.
He appeared at Slough Magistrates Court in January 2021, where he was also made to give up the weapon.

Kamaal Davis, of Canterbury Avenue, Slough, was found with a black metal kosh in Slough in February 2021.
He was given a conditional discharge, however, and only made to pay a victim surcharge and costs of £22 and £85 respectively.
The 20-year-old appeared at Slough Magistrates Court in March 2021.
Abdulbaaqi Hashmi, of The Crescent, Slough, was in court for possession of a cricket ball within a sock.
The 20-year-old was caught with the offensive weapon in Slough in January 2020.
Hashmi was ordered to take part in a rehabilitation activity as part of his sentence, and was also made to pay costs and a victim surcharge at Slough Magistrates Court in April 2021.

Paul Rawson, of Gatwick Close, Slough, had a wooden sling shot on his person when he was stopped by police in October 2020.
The 46-year-old will be made to work 150 hours for the possession of this particular item, which he was ordered to give up at a court hearing in February 2021.
No orders were made for costs or a victim surcharge, however.
Noorul Miah, of Lyndhurst Road, Tilehurst, Reading, was sent to prison for 26 weeks after being found in possession of a baseball bat in Reading in September 2020.
The 44-year-old was simultaneously sentenced for the beating of a man on the same day, for which he was given a concurrent prison sentence of 16 weeks.
He was also made to pay a victim surcharge of £128 when he appeared at Reading Magistrates Court on April 30, 2021.

Joshua Spindlow, of Dedworth Road, Windsor, was given a conditional discharge for being in possession of an air rifle in April 2020.
The 21-year-old was told to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and costs of £85, however.
He appeared at Slough Magistrates Court in April 2021.
Ali Ahmed, of Hazelmere Road, Slough, was carrying a machete in Slough in December 2020.
The 21-year-old was committed to four weeks in prison for this act, and told to give up two machetes in his possession.
He was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £128 at Slough Magistrates Court in April 2021.
