THIS Sunday is the first weekend in months that we can finally head to our favourite pubs for a Sunday roast.

While many pubs offered takeaway roasts during lockdown, and some have had outdoor dining since mid-April, this is the first weekend we can head inside pubs following the loosening of restrictions on Monday.

Heading to the pub for Sunday lunch is one of the things people have missed the most during lockdown; putting on their Sunday best to head to the pub with friends or family to sit down and enjoy a roast with all the trimmings all served with a healthy helping of gravy.

Lots of venues will already be fully booked with diners itching to get back inside, but here is a rundown of six of the best pubs across the borough for a Sunday dinner, according to Trip Advisor reviews.
