In March of this year, a total of 386 crimes were reported in Reading.
This was down from 453 in February.
Of these crimes, 116 were categorized as 'violence or sexual offences'.

These crimes include offences against the person such as common assaults, Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) and sexual offences.
Four such reports were made in Prospect Street.

This was the highest number of reports on individual roads.
All of these reports are currently under investigation.
No additional crimes were reported in Prospect Street during the month of March.
A total of nine roads recorded a total of three reports.
These were: Avon Place, Battle Place, Cannon Street, Cheapside, Gower Street, Hilcot Road, Kennet Walk, Oxford Road and Station Road.
