A DRIVE in cinema that was due to be in Reading this week has been cancelled by the organisers.

Flix had announced there would be a 'Drive In, Sit Out' cinema at the Madejski Stadium from today (June 1).

Customers were expecting to watch the latest blockbusters like The Little Things and Wonder Woman 1984.

However, Flix's website has explained the event has been cancelled.

The post said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, it is with deep regret we have had to cancel our Reading event taking place this week (1-6 June)."

It explained: "See tickets will issue a full refund within 7-1o days. There is nothing further you need to do.

"Your refund will automatically be refunded to the bank account you paid with.

"We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused."

Flix has been contacted for a comment.
