TWO men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a branch of Betfred in Reading.
Kerron Annetts, aged 41, of Paices Hill, Aldermaston, and Simon Bampton, aged 46, of Russell Street, Reading, were arrested on June 2 and June 3 respectively.
Annetts was subsequently charged with one count of robbery and one count of possession of an imitation firearm and Bampton was charged with one count of robbery.

The charges are in connection with an incident at just before 3.30pm on Monday (May 31) when a man entered the Betfred in Coronation Square, Reading, threatening a cashier before taking cash.
Annetts and Bampton are both due to appear before Reading Magistrates’ Court today (June 4).
