A 'serious' traffic accident has been reported on the A34 forcing the road to close.
The road has been closed both ways due to a 'serious accident', which happened on the northbound side of the carriageway.
AA Live Traffic service is reporting the closure and heavy traffic due to a serious accident on the A34, affecting the A339 to Junction 13 of the M4.
Highways England said police and an air ambulance are at the scene dealing with the incident, which congestion likely.

Highways England are reporting delays of 40- minutes following the incident.
They say normal traffic conditions are expected between 9.45pm and 10pm.
