A CRASH involving a car and a bus, causing 'serious leg injuries', has led to police officers appealing for witnesses today.
At around 5.50am today (June 22), a crash between a silver Volkswagen Passat and a double decker bus on Imperial Way, between the Holiday Inn roundabout and A33 Basingstoke Road led to the Passat driver suffering a number of injuries.

The 23 year old driver suffered a badly broken leg and a minor head injury. He was since taken to hospital and he remains there at this time.
The bus driver suffered a minor injury, but did not require hospital treatment.
Thankfully, none of the passengers were injured.
Investigating officer Sergeant Gary Doughty of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, based at Three Mile Cross, said: “This collision occurred just after dawn and resulted in a man suffering a serious, but not life-threatening injury to his leg.

“I am appealing to anybody who was driving in the area at the time and has dash-cam footage of the collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police by calling 101, quoting reference number 43210273689, or make a report online.
“I would also ask anybody else who witnessed the incident to please get in touch with police.
“No arrests have been made and the road, which was closed for investigation work, has since been re-opened.”
