A MAN has been sentenced after being caught dangerously driving and having drugs in his car in Reading.
Shane Morris, 31, of Oxford Road, Reading, was sentenced in Reading Crown Court on Monday, June 14, after pleading guilty to one count of possession of cannabis with intent to supply, one count of dangerous driving and one count of driving without insurance at an previous hearing.

This comes after police attempted to stop Morris in his gray Ford Focus on Queens Road, Reading, when he failed to stop and in the process caused damage to a number of vehicles.
He then stopped his car, got out and ran away, however Police officers later caught and detained him on the same day (April 15).
Morris was found to be in possession of individual bags of cannabis, drug phones and cash. He was charged the following day, on April 16.
He was then sentenced in court to a total of 15 months imprisonment.
Investigating Officer Police Constable Zachary Rowe of the Stronghold team at Reading police station said:
“Drug dealing and dangerous driving threaten public safety. We take these offences seriously and will continue to work hard to bring offenders to justice.
