A HUNGRY 'drug-driver' was caught devouring a pizza whilst sat in green traffic lights.

Thames Valley Police noticed the driver didn't go when the lights turned green because he was "too busy eating a pizza" behind the wheel.

The incident happened last night (June 23) in Whitley, Reading and when they stopped the Skoda Fabia car they also discovered the driver had borrowed their friends car.

Police said the driver gave false details pretending to be their friend when they were in fact 10 years younger.

TVP Roads Policing said: "After getting their driving licence photo emailed through (yes we can do that) they realised the game was up and admitted who they were.

"They turned out to be disqualified from driving for a previous offence of drug driving had no insurance."

To top it off, the driver also tested positive for cannabis and had been wanted by police for several month for assault and criminal damage offences.

As a result, the driver was arrested for multiple offences and the car was taken away by police.
