The number of cases of the Indian variant of Covid-19 in Reading can be revealed.
Surge testing took place in parts of the town last week following a steep increase in the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in recent weeks.
The data shows that 75,953 confirmed and probable cases of the Delta variant have now been recorded in the UK – up by 33,630 (79 per cent) on the previous week.

In Reading, there had been a total of 366 cases of the Indian variant as of June 18.
That was 118 more than the 248 cases recorded the week before.
Elsewhere, neighbouring Bracknell have seen case numbers increase from 174 on June 3 to 256 on June 18.
