The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

April 8:
CALVIN SHEPHERD, 36, of Gardenia, Woodley, admitted to harassing a woman between December 20, 2020 and December 23, 2020. He was fined £80, given a restraining order from the woman, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and ordered to pay £85 costs. 
JASON PHIPPEN, 53, of Cutbush Lane, Shinfield, admitted to harassing a woman between August 2020 and October 2020 and to demanding the woman retracted a witness statement in Shinfield in August 2020. He was handed a restraining order, ordered to take part in rehabilitation activities, fined £1,500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and £85 costs. 

April 9: 
STEVEN RACKHAM, 31, of Loundyes Close, Thatcham, admitted to failing to stop a vehicle when requested to do so by a constable in uniform, driving without care and attention, and driving without insurance on Gordon Road, Thatcham on April 8, 2021. He was fined £800, made to pay a victim surcharge of £80, ordered to pay costs of £85 and told to pay a victim surcharge of £80. 
ANDREI BIEA, 26, of Spring Terrace, Reading, admitted driving an HGV on Mill Lane in Newbury despite the weight of 32 tonnes exceeding the limit of 7.5 tonnes on July 28, 2020. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £175 court costs.
EMIL BORISOV, 29, of George Street, Reading, admitted being a person who imported, produced, carried, kept, treated, or disposed of controlled waste but failed to prevent a the unauthorised or harmful depositing of waste. Fined £200. Also ordered to pay £112 compensation and £150 court costs.
JAYDON INGLIS, 18, of Parkside Road, Reading, convicted of driving a vehicle without the correct licence or insurance in Great Lea, Three Mile Cross, on October 16, 2020.  Fined £150. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. six points added to driving licence.
TYLER HIBBETT, 20, of Browning Close, West Berkshire, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway Service in Reading without having paid the £17.60 train fare on October 20, 2020.  Fined £440. Also ordered to pay  £17.60 compensation. Must also pay £44 victim surcharge and £180 court costs.
SIOMON KING, 23, of The Nightingales, Newbury, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway Service without having paid the £3.30 train fare in Kintbury on October 22, 2020. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £3.30 compensation. Must also pay £44 victim surcharge and £180 court costs.
BRENDAN RICE, 20, of Blackwater Close, Reading, convicted of not being in a designated compulsory ticket area with a valid ticket in Reading on October 21, 2020. Fined £220 and ordered to pay £14.20 compensation. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £180 court costs.
MOHAMED SILLAH, 23, of Norton Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway Service without having paid the £9.90 train fare in Reading on October 27, 2020. Also convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway Service without having paid the £6.90 train fare on October 28, 2020. Also convicted of entering the station in Reading wihtout passing through the barrier in the correct manner in Reading on October 28, 2020. Fined £1,100 and ordered to pay £16.80 compensation. Also ordered to pay £110 victim surcharge and £360 court costs.
CIAN WEEDON, 21, of Pritchard Close, Thatcham, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway Service without having paid the £18.80 train fare in Slough on October 28, 2020. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £18.80 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £180 court costs.
RYAN HIBBETT, 20, of Browning Close, Thatcham, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway Service without having paid the £17.60 train fare in Reading on October 20, 2020. Fined £440. Also ordered to pay £17.60 compensation. Must also pay £44 victim surcharge and £180 court costs.
JADE ALKASSAB, 19, of Beresford Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway Service without having paid the £25.90 train fare in Reading on October 28, 2020. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £25.90 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £180 court costs.

April 12:
LEON LOWE, 35, of South Street, Reading, admitted stealing £10.39 worth of food items from Aldi on August 1, 2020. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge.
JASON VINTON, 47, of Wokingham Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by not attending appointments on February 8, 2021, February 12, 2021, February 19, 2021, and February 23, 2021. Community order varied to include rehabilitation activity. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.
JIRI CHRZ, 37, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of community order by not attending a telephone appointment on February 8, 2021. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 court costs.
MARK CONNOR, 47, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending telephone appointments on November 24, 2020, and office appointment on November 4, 2020. Community order varied with end date extended. Also ordered to pay £50 court costs.
ALAN WATERS, 45, of Southend in Thatcham, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending unpaid work on February 8, 2020. Original offence involved stealing meat worth £52.30 from Sainsburys in Thatcham on July 15, 2019, stealing meat worth £101.93 from Waitrose on May 23, 2018, stealing meat worth £70.55 on June 12, 2019 from Sainsbury’s in Thatcham. Community order revoked and given  conditional discharge for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £25 court costs.
SAMUEL WARD, 29, of Mead Close, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a suspended sentence order by not attending appointments on February 16, 2021, and February 23, 2021. Suspended sentence varied to four months in prison suspended for 24 months. Fined £80. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.

April 13:
INTIKHAB ALAM, 43, of Southampton Street, Reading, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Broad Street, Reading, on February 27, 2021, and failed to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates’ Court having been released on bail on February 28, 2021. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
RICHARD MCDONALD, 32, of Scholars Close, Reading, admitted living in a tier 4 area but being outside you replace of living without reasonable excuse in Rembrandt Way on January 25, 2021. Fined £200. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
