POLICE are on the hunt for a man after a woman was sexually assaulted and had strands of her hair and clothing cut off.
Officers have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to trace in connection to the attack.
The woman was inappropriately touched over her clothing in Friar Street, Reading, shortly before 3.55pm on Wednesday, July 7.
After she challenged the man she noticed he had cut strands of hair and clothing from her.

Police said she was not injured during the incident but was left feeling 'distressed'.
Investigating officer PC Sally Meineke, based at Reading police station, said: “This incident occurred in the middle of the afternoon in a busy area of Reading.
“I am releasing these CCTV images of a man who I believe may have vital information about this incident.
“I am urging this man to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 43210292993 or contact us online.

“I would also appeal to anybody who recognises this man or believe that they witnessed the incident to please get in touch.
“You can also report 100% anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“The victim was not injured in this incident, but naturally this was a distressing occurrence.
“Anybody who has any information, please get in touch with police.”
