READING'S Fran Kirby feels 'proud' to be part of Team GB's women's football as they play against Australia in the quarter-finals today.
The footballer started her career with Reading FC as a striker before playing at Chelsea.
She was the catalyst as Chelsea became the third team in history to retain their Super League title and follow Arsenal's 2007 vintage in reaching the Champions League final.

Now, Kirby and her women's squad has made it to the quarter-finals against Australia today which kicked off 30 minutes ago.

Sharing an emotional post on Twitter, Fran Kirby said: "Worked hard these last few weeks to get on the pitch. Proud and honoured to share the pitch with this team, we continue our dream. Well done team."
