Man arrested after police incident in Reading town centre
A MAN in his 40s has been arrested in connection to a robbery in Reading town centre.
It relates to the incident in St Mary's Butts yesterday evening (Saturday, July 31) where a number of officers were seen restraining a man on the street.
Emergency services were also called to the incident.

Thames Valley Police confirmed this morning that a 42-year-old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of robbery of a bicycle in Chain Street at about 5.30pm.
The man remains in custody at this time.
