Almost 500 people have signed a petition calling for a speed limit reduction on a busy main road on Maidenhead.
Residents have expressed concerns about the risk of accidents to pedestrians on Maidenhead Road, adjacent to the Parsonage Lane/Mill Lane mini-roundabout.
The group is calling on the council to upgrade the existing Zebra crossing on the site into a Toucan crossing as well as considering lowering the speed limit.

At the time of writing, 474 people have signed the petition.
Arguing why the council should take note of the petition, campaigners wrote: "The roundabout has long been identified as a cycle accident blackspot.

"Of Berkshire's 16 worst blackspots for cyclists, data collated from police traffic records confirmed this roundabout is third on the list."
The deadline to sign the petition is September 11.
