A SWANKY new cocktail bar is opening soon promising to bring a mix of tasty new drinks to Reading.

High Spirits Cocktail Company will be flinging their doors open on Friday, August 13, replacing the old Caffeine and Cocktails unit in Kings Walk.

Party-goers are welcome to come at 5pm and enjoy a delicious range of cocktails which will get you in high spirits.

Staff informed customers on social media about the new bar opening in Reading town centre.

They said: "It's finally time to start the most exciting countdown of August! This is all we have been thinking about and now we would like to invite you all to join us on this countdown to the grand opening of High Spirits in Reading!

"Wherever possible we source locally, to minimise our impact on the environment whilst supporting small businesses and improving variety.

"We try to use unusual products in all of our drinks, so you get to try something new, and we get to bring new products to market."

The new bar is also dedicated to supporting the environment and making a positive impact to climate change.

They explained they will try to "drive the industry forward on issues of sustainability and humanitarian ethics."

Adding: "We believe that combining this with the best team, and the right products puts value and quality at the core of our company which allows us to provide the best experiences to our guests."

The cocktail menu serves classic drinks such as porn star Martinis, mojitos and Aperol Spritz.

They also have dozens of more drinks for the curiously minded, including Thai Collins, The Godfather Part 2 and Scottish Vergers.
