A MAN has been rushed to hospital with a head injury after an attack in Oxford Road.
Thames Valley Police were called to reports of an assault in Reading on Tuesday, August 10.
It happened about 11.30pm and a man in his forties was rushed to hospital as a result of his injuries.
He had injured his head and police said he remains in hospital at this time.
The force said a 34-year-old man, from Reading, was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and a 13-year-old boy, from Tilehurst, was arrested on suspicion of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
Both have been released on police bail.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Dominique Roe, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this assault, or anyone who may have information about what happened, to please come forward.
