THE RED Arrows and a Spitfire plane is set to mark this weekends Retro Festival event at Newbury Showground.
Plans are underway for the Red Arrows display team to fly over West Berkshire at 12.30pm tomorrow (Saturday, August 14).
Organiser Paul Jezard confirmed there will also be a Battle of Britain memorial flight happening all over the weekend to commemorate those who have lost their lives.
The planes may even fly past over Reading, although nothing has been confirmed yet regarding their route.

Visitors of the Retro Festival will also get to see a Spitfire fly past at about 12.50pm on Saturday and a Dakota at about 3.15pm on Sunday.
All flights may be subject to last minute alteration or cancellation due to adverse weather conditions or RAF service requirements.
Visitors will get to see classic cars, dance to retro music and enjoy the displays this weekend.
Vintage car enthusiasts will be treated to hundreds of exhibits on show from airstream caravans, classic caravans, classic motorcycles, steam engines, hot rods, tear drop caravans, American RV’s, Portafold caravans, scooters and military vehicles.
There will also be stalls selling everything from vintage clothes, furniture, games, jewellery and more.
