FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a large fire that had burnt down former Newbury Football Ground.
Emergency services attended the fire in Faraday Road overnight on Friday, August 14.
The fire has left a 'devastating' impact on the football community in West Berkshire.

Newbury Community Football Group posted a statement on social media.
They said: "It is devastating to see the burnt ruins of the Clubhouse at Newbury Football Ground and we hope nobody has been hurt or injured by the fire."
They even shared images of the fire on Friday night making members of the community aware of what happened.
