A READING man is set for a trial after denying holding a gathering during England’s second coronavirus lockdown.
Luke Stockings, of Bourton Close, Tilehurst, Reading, denied being involved in a gathering of more than 30 people at Sainsbury’s supermarket car park in Calcot on November 15, 2020.

This was during England’s second national lockdown, which ran from November 5 to December 2 following a spike in coronavirus cases.
Appearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on July 1, 2021, the 19-year-old pleaded not guilty to one charge.

The case has been adjourned to Reading Magistrates’ Court, where the trial is set to be heard.
