Former Reading FC striker Sam Baldock has settled quickly at his new club Derby County.

The 32-year-old striker joined the Rams following his release from the Royals in the Summer.

Last season Baldock struggled for consistent game time at the Select Car Leasing Stadium and was released following 65 appearances over three years.

He failed to score in 20 Championship appearances in Veljko Paunovic's debut campaign.

It didn't take Baldock long to make an impression in the East Midlands, scoring the only goal on his debut as the Rams earned a 1-0 win over newly-promoted Hull City.
