A YOUNG man jailed for sexually assaulting a child will spend more time behind bars after meeting up with a teenage girl days after his release from prison.
Bradley Scott, of Orts Road, Reading, was banned from communicating with girls under the age of 16 following a previous conviction for child sexual abuse.
But the 20-year-old, who penetrated a 13-year-old girl when he was 17, met up with a 14-year-old girl just four days after his release from prison in May of this year.

At a court hearing today, (August 20), Scott admitted to three breaches of a sexual harm prevention order handed to him in June 2019.
The conditions of the order meant he was not allowed to communicate with a girl under the age of 16, forbidden from allowing a girl under the age of 16 to his home address, and banned from using social media.
But he did all three of these things on May 19, 2021, just five days after his release from prison on May 14, 2021.
He met the 14-year-old girl through a 15-year-old friend in Reading town centre before they went back to his home address.

Prosecutor Sarita Basra said the girl made Scott aware of her age throughout their meeting.
They met again on May 20, when she returned to his home address where he was drinking alcohol with friends.
The police then arrived at his property following an anti-social behaviour report.
Scott was arrested on May 21 and initially denied having contact with the 14-year-old girl.
Despite again denying three charges of breaching his sexual harm prevention order at a later court hearing, Scott today admitted the allegations were true.

Prosecuting, Sarita Basra said: “This breach occurred five days after he was released from prison.
“There was a risk of harm because the girl was 14 and there was alcohol involved.
“Though it doesn’t seem their conversation was sexualised, the risk was that he was grooming her for a sexual relationship.”
Defending, James McCrindell said there was no evidence of harm being caused by Scott.
He added: “There is always risk with this sort of defence by definition.
“But there is no suggestion of a sexual aspect.”
Sentencing, her honour Judge Norton addressed Scott who was appearing via live link from prison.

She said: “You were released on May 14 and within a number of days after having a meeting with your supervising officer about what you can and can’t do, you promptly breached your order on three occasions by having contact with a 14-year-old girl.
“In that very short period of time no sexual offences were committed but that does not mean to say there was no risk.
“She [the girl] was only 14 and alcohol was involved so there was risk.
“You have a poor history of compliance with court orders.
“You have breached court orders on multiple occasions. You appear to have little interest in complying with court orders which are imposed to protect other people.
“As long as you keep doing this you will keep finding yourself back in court and back in custody.”

Scott was sentenced to ten months in prison for three counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order.
However, he will be eligible for release on licence after five months.
Having already served three months in prison since May, Scott is set to be released from jail in two months time.
Scott was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Friday, August 20.
