WHAT A DAY.
And that's putting it mildly -- day one of Reading Festival lived up to all our expectations and more.
The best part is we've still got two days to go!
But for anyone who missed what happened yesterday, here's our recap of the best bits from day one.
Incredible live music
Where do you even begin?
So many fantastic artists gave their all for the crowds at Reading Festival after so long away.
Stormzy was electric on the Main Stage East, wrapping up his set with his hit Vossy Bop having brought out a handful of guests during his performance.
Catfish and the Bottlemen warmed up the crowd before this with a fast-paced set laden with all their hits we've grown to love over the years.
Other artists who excited fans included Mabel, Sam Fender, AJ Tracey and many more.
The artist's connection with the fans
You could really feel the emotion in some of the sets performed yesterday.
For the majority of artists, this was the first time back at a live gig after months hidden away due to coronavirus rules.
The relief was palpable.
Aitch, performing on Main Stage East, told his adoring crowd: "It's been two f****** years since I've been able to do this."
Stormzy, wrapping up his show before his final song, instructed his audience to "take all your frustration from the past 18 months" and put into it dancing to his final piece.
The secret sets
In the words of Smash Mouth, 'they don't stop coming!'
Reading Festival organisers announced several secret sets throughout the day, including Don Broco, Frank Carter and Maisie Peters.
Lots of unexpected treats for music lovers.
The guy crowd-surfing in a wheelchair
You read that right.
Looks like he had a very good time!
The vaccines
Not the band, but actual, real-life vaccines.
Jabs were handed out to youngsters at the NHS vaccine centre near the first aid tent throughout the day yesterday.
The moshing
Concerts are back and naturally that means moshing is back.
One raver said he 'wasn't bothered' about the risk of catching COVID as just wanted to get back in and get involved.

The Tilehurst lad performing at Reading Festival
Tayo Sound performed on the BBC Introducing stage yesterday.
His performance marked an incredible rise -- he was still busking on the streets just two years ago.
Check out his reaction to his set above.
Let's hope day two is just as exciting!
