WHEN you think of festivals, what first comes to mind?
Camping? Music? Wellies?
All good answers, but of course for many people going to a festival is also about having the chance to enjoy a nice cold beer.

But campers and day-ticket-holders are not allowed to bring alcohol into the arena, so the only option to get a pint is to go to one of the official Reading Festival bars dotted around the site.
So how much will music lovers have to pay for 568ml of beer?
A 3.8 per cent pint of Carlsberg at Reading Festival costs £6 (with 10 per cent off if you pay with Barclaycard).

If you fancy a cider, a Somersby will set you back £6.50.
If beer’s not your thing, there are other options at the bar.
Hard Seltzer, a new drink which comes in tangerine, mango and passion fruit flavours, costs £7 for 330ml.
A 250ml glass of house will force you to hand over £7.

If Echo Falls is to your taste, you can pay £6.25 for a 187ml glass or £7.50 for 750ml.
Spirit and mixer is available too. A single shot of vodka, gin, rum or whiskey will set you back £6.50.
Vodka and Red Bull costs £8.
Fear not if you don’t want alcohol -- a can of Red Bull costs £3.50 and water is £2.60 for 500ml.
