Here are our player ratings from Reading's shocking 4-0 loss at Huddersfield.

Rafael - 2

Did a good job at getting the ball out of his net, got a fair deal of practice today. Wouldn't say any of the goals were his fault - but he didn't inspire confidence when crosses were delivered into the box. Need to be loud and commanding in goal, which was clearly not the case.

Andy Yiadom - 1

Played at left-back and struggled all game. Attacked the ball when he should have dropped back and dropped back when he should have got forward. Beaten for pace and trickery all afternoon. Seemed to forget how to pass a ball for long stages.

Liam Moore - 1

Possibly his worst ever Royals performance. Offered nothing in terms of organising the defence, leading the team or anything else you'd expect from a captain. The third Huddersfield goal is an example in how not to defend by Moore. All over the place.

Michael Morrison - 2

But for a couple of strong blocks, he'd get a one alongside Moore. Slow to close down, ponderous on the ball, looked off the pace when being attacked and lost focus on more than one occassion.

Tom Holmes - 2

Given the run around for a lot of the game and was left chasing shadows. The fourth goal rather summed up his game, when he was raced past before the Town man squared the ball.

John Swift - 4

Put some nice set-pieces into the area but was let down by a lack of movement. Faded in the second half and had no options to help him play through the midfield.

Josh Laurent - 2

For a man who has been so consistent, Laurent had a very poor game. Left spaces in the middle to be exploited, gave away cheap fouls and failed to track runners. Needed to show the energy to support the front three.

Andy Rinomhota - 2

See above.

Junior Hoilett - 4

Keen to work openings in the first half and made some nice runs into space. Final ball needs some work but did at least offer an outlet.

Tom Dele-Bashiru - 3

Lost possession and was offside more times than he'd of liked. Showed good skill to get out of some tight spots but again, no real final product.

George Puscas - 4

Worked tirelessly and had a good first-half. Fell apart, like the rest of the team, after the break.

SUBS

Alen Halilovic - 5

Showed his class and should have had an assist late on with a lovely free-kick. Glimmer of hope.
