READING FC have again made moves in the transfer market with the recruitment of two Premier League veterans.
Chelsea man Danny Drinkwater, who won the Premier League with Leicester City in 2016, joins on a season-long loan from the London club.
His arrival was confirmed hours after the Royals announced the capture of former Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann, who signed on a one-year contract having been released from the Eagles in the summer.

The deals were confirmed yesterday (August 30) and marked the Royals’ fifth and sixth signings of the summer.
Midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru was Reading FC’s first signing of the summer having arrived on loan from Watford, winger Junior Hoilett signed next on a free from Cardiff, playmaker Alen Halilovic also joined having been a free agent, and left-back Baba Rahmen joined before Scott Dann’s arrival was confirmed.
Following the two latest signings, Chief Executive Dayong Pang said: “The opportunity to bring a player with Danny’s undoubted ability to our club was not one we could miss.

Commenting on Scott Dann’s arrival, the Royals’ chief added: “I’m very pleased to have Scott sign with us.
“He’s a centre-back who has so much experience of top-flight football and that vast experience will deliver so much to our first team squad at Reading.
