A PERSON was rushed to hospital following a major crash on the IDR last night.
Shortly after 6pm on Wednesday, August 1, emergency services were called to a crash involving a car and pedestrian.
The crash happened on the A329 near the Oracle in Reading and two ambulance crews and a critical care car from Thames Valley Air Ambulance was sent to the scene.

A spokesman at South Central Ambulance Service said: "We sent to the scene two ambulance crews and the critical care car from the Thames Valley Air Ambulance and they were assessing and treating one patient who was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital."
Police also closed the Inner Distribution Road from Katesgrove to Castle Hill in Reading.
Heavy traffic was reported from 7pm.
