A TOUCHING tribute has been left outside the boarded-up fish and chip shop in Reading town centre.
Mr Chips, the town centre's only fish and chip shop has closed down and people have already expressed their emotions towards the closure.
One upset diner even tweeted a picture of his hand touching the boarded-up shop with a bunch of flowers laid outside.

Many have also tweeted about Mr Chip's closure with one resident saying: "I shed a tear when I walked past earlier."
Another added: "Aww, I liked their bubble tea."
Mr Chips specialised in traditional fish and chip and was the only restaurant providing the cuisine in the town centre.

They also made bubble tea, which has grown in popularity amongst residents over the years.
To top it off, the chip shop was also recognised in the Good Food Awards as one of the best places to eat in the country this year.
Herbies Pizza is rumoured to be replacing the shop with one person saying he saw Herbie's Pizza branding measuring up.
