A Reading boy is set to be given a telling off for taking a pocket knife into a Subway sandwich store.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, took the three-inch knife into the Oxford Road store on July 23, 2021.
He was also caught in possession of cannabis at Loddon Valley Police Station on the same date.

The boy pleaded guilty to both charges at Berkshire Youth Court at Reading Magistrates’ Court on July 26, 2021.
He appeared at the same court again on Wednesday, August 25 for a hearing, where he was told a pre-sentence report would be prepared.

The court ordered a number of curfew conditions on the boy while in remand, including that he must stay at home each night and be electronically monitored between 6pm and 8am each day.
He is set to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court again today (Wednesday, September 8).
