A READING man accused of murder held his head in his hands as he appeared in Crown Court for the first time this morning.
Nyiah Williams, of Hadrian Walk East, Reading was charged with the murder of Duane Denny on Sunday, September 19.
Denny, 46, was discovered in Erith, London last week having been reported missing in August.

Williams, also 46, appeared in Reading Magistrates’ Court yesterday (September 20) having also been charged with preventing a lawful burial and perverting the course of justice.
The Reading man appeared at Reading Crown Court via video link from HMP Bullingdon for a preliminary hearing this morning (September 21).
He wore a green and yellow sports jacket as he held his hands between his knees and perched with his head facing down towards the ground.

As barristers discussed how the case would move forward, Williams held his head in his hands.
Prosecutor Charles Ward-Jackson told Judge Heather Norton it would be difficult to set a trial date as a specialist pathologist was needed to give evidence relating to Denny’s injuries.

Instead, a plea and trial preparation hearing was set and Williams will appear in court again on Friday, November 12.
