The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates' Court

July 23

ADRIAN BUCKERIDGE, 32, of South Street, Reading, admitted theft from a shop, namely theft of alcohol worth £72.50 from Sainsbury’s in Reading on January 18, 2021. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. 

DAMON COUSINS, 47, of Blenheim Gardens, Reading, admitted driving under the influence of cocaine at the site of Watlington House Vaccination Centre, Reading, on January 22, 2021. Also admitted to driving without a licence and without insurance. Committed to prison for 16 weeks due to serious injury caused to victim. Banned from driving for 50 months. Must pay £213 in court fees. 

MARK WHITLOCK, 35, of Coleman Moors Road, Woodley, admitted driving under the influence of cannabis, on Shinfield Road, Reading, on January 15, 2021. Banned from driving for 12 months and fined £110. Ordered to pay £119 in court fees. 

ANDRE SHAW, 30, of Park Lane, Tilehurst, Reading, admitted driving under the influence of ketamine and cannabis and possession of ketamine on Tilehurst Road, Reading, on January 2, 2021. Banned from driving for 36 months. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 80 hours unpaid work. Must pay £180 in court fees. 

 

July 26

GALAN ZAMBO, 41, of South Lake Crescent, Woodley, admitted drink driving on Lowfield Road, Caversham, on July 23, 2021. Caught with 112 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Also admitted drink driving on South Oak Way, Reading, on June 29, 2021. Caught with 66 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Committed to prison for 18 weeks as offence committed while on bail. Banned from driving for 50 months. Must pay £128 victim surcharge. 

KELLY BOWERS, 26, of Loddon Bridge Road, Woodley, convicted of drink driving on Wychelm Road, Shinfield, on June 20, 2020. Caught with 64 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Banned from driving for 17 months. Fined £180 and must pay £534 in court fees. 

 

July 27

CALLUM SAUNDERS, 22, of Underwood Road, Reading, admitted driving under the influence of cocaine on Arborfield Road, Shinfield, on February 6, 2021. Banned from driving for 12 months and fined £650. 

 

July 28

 

JAKUB KWIATKOWSKI, 28, of Lorne Street, Reading, admitted sexual assault on a female in Reading on January 2, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay compensation of £300 and must pay £180 in court fees. 

CLAIRE WHITE, 43, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, admitted possession of a knife in a public place, namely a bread knife in Reading, on November 11, 2020. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 25 rehabilitation activity days. Must pay £180 in court fees. 

CALLUM HAWKINS, 25, of Argyle Road, Reading, admitted assault by beating of a man in Newbury on February 27, 2021. Also admitted racially and religiously aggravated assault on the same date. Fined £300 and must pay £119 in court fees.
