The Great Taste Awards winners have been announced and a Reading businesses has been recognised.
The awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, are the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards.
Each year, 144 judges, including leading critics, chefs, buyers and restaurateurs, carefully pore over thousands of entrants to select the year’s top products.

How is food rated?
Awards are based on a variety of factors, from the texture and appearance to the quality of ingredients.
3-star: Extraordinarily tasty foods.
2-star: Above and beyond delicious.
1-star: A food that delivers fantastic flavour.
Tea People, a business set up by husband-wife duo Neeraj and Vishaka from Reading, won at the Great Taste Awards.

They wrote on Facebook: "We're Great Taste Award Winners Again!
"We are so happy that we can add another 6 Great Taste Awards under our belts today!
"One three star won by our amazing Peppermint tea, a two star for our Milk Oolong and one stars for our Cherry Black, Jasmine Green, Sleep and Blue Butterfly Pea Green."
The business also does a lot more than sell speciality tea.
The enterprise was founded to address the issue of poverty in tea growing regions of the world.
50% of the profits fund educational and social projects in impoverished tea growing regions.
