With Halloween just around the corner, there isn't a better time to be from Reading after it was named as one of the spookiest places in the UK.
Reading came in at joint 10th place with Glasgow in Online Mortgage Advisor's index.
The company have ranked 40 major UK towns and cities based on population according to seven factors.
Thie index studied the number of cemeteries, paranormal sightings, abandoned homes, spooky roads, safety at night, level of crime and annual sunshine.
Reading has a staggering 270 cemetries and 180 spooky roads.
There have been 180 reported parnamoral sightings in the town along with 200 abandoned homes.
The town has a total score of 840 points after it received -140 points being among the cities with the most annual sunshine.
Reading scored 80 points for safety at night and a 70 rating for the level of crime.
According to the index, Reading is more haunted than Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester but Newport claims the title for the creepiest town in the country.
