A new venue for food traders, live music and bars has announced its it will open on November 12.
Market Yard at Printhouse, in Tessa Road, once home to the Reading Post, has enough space for events catering 1,200 people.
It’s three rooms and outdoor terrace will open with music from DJ Yoda, Disco Shed and Natasha Kitty Katt.

After being granted a licence in September, a spokesperson for Market Yard said: “The space is unbelievable. It is a really exciting opportunity and something we are looking to get our teeth stuck into.
“We will be Christmas theming it from November 25 and taking Christmas bookings.”
Street food and Double Barrelled Brewery beer will be available as well as a special guest for the opening weekend to be announced.

Other artists confirmed so far include Soul II Soul frontman Jazzie B on Friday, November 19, DJ Lady Lloyd, from Drag Queens Of London, and the Dream Team dancers on Friday, December 10, and East 17 topping the bill on Sunday, December 19.
Market Yard will initially open for eight weeks throughout November and December until January 1. If successful, it could relaunch in 2022.
The venue is open on Fridays between 4pm and 11pm and Saturdays and Sundays between 12pm and 11pm, with Wednesdays and Thursdays coming at the end of November.
